Two Advance to State Meet
ABILENE-On April 14, PHS students Hailey Holt (news writing) and Logan Waggoner (number sense and mathematics) qualified for the State UIL Academic Meet.

Tres Pennington finished in sixth place in Current Issues and Events
Heather Karg had the 8th highest score for Calculator Applications and had a personal best score.
Tryston Webb and Megan Aldape placed in the top half of the scores for Computer Applications and Science, respectively.
Others that competed: Hadleigh Anthony in News Writing, Lucy Ruiz in Editorial Writing, and Brodie Paschall in Science. Tryston Webb, Seth Rodriguez, Mia Caddell, and Tres Pennington were alternates for other events (Computer Science, Persuasive Speaking, Feature Writing, and Social Studies, respectively) but did not get to compete because 1st - 3rd places were present and able to compete in those events.
PHS Attends UIL Regional Event
Over the weekend of April 14, Paradise High School competed in the Regional UIL Academic competition in Abilene.

PHS Wins Awards at District
WICHITA FALLS-On March 22-23, Paradise High School competed at the district UIL meet held at Midwestern State University. Paradise finished in third place overall and had 12 students qualify for the April 13-14 regional meet. Here are the results:

Paradise Hosts Invitational Meet
On November 11, we saw a packed cafeteria as 8 schools sent students from 2A to 6A in enrollment to compete at our fall invitational. It was a busy, productive day. Our students had a lot of competition, but as usual represented our school well.
