Panthers Make Good Showing at Regionals
PONDER-At the Boys Regional Powerlifting meet on March 9, Paradise sent four boys to compete for the chance to advance to state. Pictured are coach Bob Ferguson, Taylor Edwards, Kelton Dethloff, Kristof Pewitt, and Coach Ray Callaway. Also competing but not pictured was Luke Miller.
Sparks Qualifies for State
LEONARD-At the Regional Powerlifting meet, Senior Ashley Sparks qualified for the state meet in the 114 pound class by finishing second in her division with 565 total pounds lifted. As a result, she will compete in the State meet that will be held the weekend of March 16 at Corpus Christi.
Two other Lady Panther lifters medaled at the meet: Raeann Reid and Mikaela Beck both finished fifth in their classes. Kailyn Carwile also made the regional meet. All four girls were in their first year as powerlifters.

Panthers Battle at Chico
On January 26, Paradise sent a large number of lifters to the Chico Invitational meet. The boys team placed 7th out of 24 teams and the girls were 10th. Those placing were:
